Terms of Service

What this is

Talk to the Other Side (“TTOS,” “we,” “us”) matches you for a live video conversation with someone on the other side of a sports (or, when available, political) divide. There are no accounts and no profiles. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Age

You must be 18 or older to start a call. The public slate is visible to everyone; live video is gated at join.

How matching works

You pick a game (or race) and a side. We try to put you on camera with someone on the opposing side. Matching uses temporary session tokens and queue state — not a user account.

Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Show nudity or sexual content
  • Threaten, harass, or target minors
  • Share illegal content
  • Record or redistribute someone else’s stream without their clear consent
  • Attempt to disrupt matchmaking, signaling, or other users

We may end sessions, block pairs, and ban browsers that are repeatedly reported. We do not pre-moderate every call.

Reporting

Every live call has a Report control. Reporting ends the call and can block rematching with that peer. For urgent abuse outside a call, email yougeehelp@gmail.com.

No recording by us

We do not record conversations. Video and chat travel peer-to-peer when possible. Signaling and matchmaking metadata are ephemeral.

Advertising

The site may show ads on browse and waiting surfaces. Ads are not placed inside a live call. Third-party ad networks (including Google AdSense) have their own terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee a match, call quality, or that the other person will behave well. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for disputes, harm, or losses arising from conversations between users.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: yougeehelp@gmail.com.
